Success at 2017 South Florida Code Camp

Chris “Jobs” Stephenson had tons of success at this years 2017 South Florida Code Camp located at Nova Southeastern University in Davie Florida this past Saturday March 11, 2017.

The first session was titled , “Introducing Chris Jobs; South Florida Tech Job Market Review” which covered top tech industries, jobs and salary ranges in South Florida and the second followed immediately afterwards titles “Top 6 Step Interview Prep Tips” which provided job-seekers with helpful tips on how to prepare for an All Star Interview.

What is Code Camp? South Florida Code Camp is a FREE one day GEEK FEST held on Saturday March 11, 2017. This is the 13th year for South Florida Code Camp. The event will have speakers from the local community and beyond. Speakers will be presenting some of the most requested topics like Machine Learning, DotNet Core, Windows 10, Mobile Development, ASP.NET, Javascript, JQuery, Visual Studio 2015, MVC Framework, Sharepoint, SQL Server 2016, Xamarin, cross platform development and Azure. Code Camp is community driven by a group of dedicated volunteers and speakers. Breakfast and lunch is included!

There were about 200-300 attendees at the event total with a minimum 35-40 in the first session and about 25-30 in the second.

Resume class in session at UCF Coding BootCamp in Fort Lauderdale

ucf-presentation-4ucf-presentation-5ucf-presentation-3Earlier this morning Chris “Jobs” Stephenson gave a compelling presentation to over 25 UCF Coding BootCamp students at Broward Community College’s (BCC) Las Olas campus.  His unique presentation titled, “The 3 Key Elements to a Resume” provided his professional view on how a resume’s overall look, message and audience can ultimately impact a job-seeker’s ability to identify  their next career opportunity.
